GT003 tracker configuration

Hello all,

I'm trying to configure this GPS to use Traccar.
I have set the APN: APN,myprovider#
I have check the settings: #TCP#

I know it's working because I can track my GPS in the chinese website www.gps903.net, but I don't know how to modify the IP and port settings, because these commands does not appear in the manual provided with the GPS.

Any idea?

which means:

xx...

it has no sense

It means that it's a binary protocol. It's actually GT06 protocol, so correct port is 5023.

I have set the port 5023, and now it appears online in Traccar server, but I get lat and long 0.

Do you know why is happening this?

It's because your device doesn't send location.

How is that possible?
If I ask it for the position (through SMS) using: WHERE# it sends me back its correct GPS position.

Do you know how can I fix that?

I have heard this so many times... That's just how device works. I think as soon as you start moving, you will get a GPS location.

I don't think so.
It was working fine in the chinese server. But it does not work in Traccar.

Any idea?

I have heard this many times as well. Just search forum and GitHub if you don't believe me.

You were right. It solved itself

The command to change IP and PORT is:
IP#000.000.000.000#0000#
Change 000 with the correct IP and PORT

Hi, I was supposed bought this tracker, in the manual appears GT003 but, I have tried change the IP to demo 3 as: 803#46.101.24.212#5023# and it reply set ip ok. But the tracker appears OFFLINE all the time, never has been conected.

I have tried its own website "dyegoo.net" and the tracker works ok in this website.

You have to follow troubleshooting guide. You'll need access to server logs for that.
