With the GT06 I keep getting this warning:

The tracker returns the correct position but the device shows up as being offline in Traccar client. Adding status.ignoreOffline for GT06 to the traccar.xml server file does not make the device show online. Anyone have any ideas on why this error happens?
It should work. You probably configured it incorrectly or haven't restarted the service.
