How can you find out if a tracker is supported by Traccar?
Ask the manufacturer which protocol the device uses. Many chinese clones use similar protocol / ports.

Can you just assume that if a brand is in the supported device list, all the devices from that brand are supported?

Hello everyone,
I am looking into GPS Trackers for a project I am working on. I cannot find any documentation on when a tracker is compatible with Traccar without having to walk through the configuration steps and have to physically buy the device. I am specifically asking this for trackers that are not mentioned on the Forms or trackers that are not listed in the Supported Devices.
How can I figure this out? Thanks in advance!
