How many trackers do you have on Traccar server - share you story?

Hi all,

We've been impressed with Traccar server for over a year now.

We've tested a lot of hardware and come to the conclusion that the cheap hardware creates a lot of problems. (I guess we get what we pay for).

We love the idea that Traccar allows us to customize the back end, read about others and what you are doing with Traccar.

You know, GPS tracking will continue to grow as the world see's autonomous vehicles, drones, Internet of Things technologies, I think that Traccar is going to be a great part of the above.

Tell us what you've got connected to Traccar, share your story

I'll start by sharing some demo servers statistics (average daily numbers):

demo1 - 120 active users, 500 active devices, 850k stored locations
demo2 - 60 active users, 150 active devices, 300k stored locations
demo3 - 10 active users, 15 active devices, 10k stored locations
demo4 - 130 active users, 700 active devices, 1 million stored location each day

Note that demo3 server has been recently wiped because of some database issues. If anyone wants to try demo server, I would recommend demo3 as it has good hardware and minimal load at this point. The only drawback is that it is not accessible from some areas. Ironically it's not accessible from my location (New Zealand).

My server runs for about 2 months now.
Hardware industrial micro pc-board running on 1600MHz 1G Memory 64G SSD.
Consumes only 15Watt power.
OS: Windows 7 Lite 32bit
This server is mainly in use for logging the Power of my Solar panels.

At this moment 7 trackers. 3 Users and 3 Client APP's

Very happy about the system only one problem some tick boxes won't change when I click in the box.
When clicking beside the box it works. Using FireFox browser.

Best regards Pascal from the Netherlands

That's pretty neat Sathopper, 15 watts, what are you using to monitor the solar panels?

I played around with Arduino to make a MPPT controller.

I had the same problem with Firefox too.

Firefox issue is a known problem in ExtJS library. I believe they already fixed it, but we have to wait till they release new GPL version.
