Hi I have a Huawei Y7 with Traccar Client 5.16 installed. While I keep it active in the foreground it works fine but in the background it is intermittent.
EG: It is configured to log every 10 seconds and an example today while the screen is locked, it recorded with breaks between of
- 40s
- 10s
- 3m 30s
- 20s
- 10s
- 4m 50s
The App is
- Flagged not to close on screen lock
- Flagged as a power intensive App
I am running Map-My-Walk at the same time and it has the same settings and works fine.
I have run Traccar in the foreground along with Map-My-Walk and it works fine.
Any suggestions.
I have seen a lot of reports on inconsistent background behaviour lately. I suspect that it's Android system trying to optimise battery usage, even when the app is added in the exceptions.
Same happens with Huawei P10 Lite, even taking APP out of batery optimization plans..
