I tried to upgrade to 3.17 and broke it! Help!
If something doesn't work, first thing you need to do is to check logs and search for existing solutions.
As above... No log files are in the logs folder.
I have stopped the service and and uninstalled everything.
Updated Java, downloaded the latest traccar installer.
It wont run. Complains that it requires Java (which is already installed)
Make sure you install latest Java 8. It has to be installed for ALL users.

Yes, with later version it gives problem. so go only with java version 8.
I have had Traccar running for the last few months with no issues.
I download version 3.17 and followed the instructions to upgrade, but now i cant access the server.
I just get:
"This site can’t be reached
localhost refused to connect.
Search Google for localhost 8082"
In the logs folder i have no files.
Traccar service shows as its not running. If i try to manually start it i get this message:
"Windows could not start the service on the local computer
Error 1053 The service did not respond to the start request in a timely fashion"
I have tried to completely uninstall and start from scratch, but still get the same.
