Logicly you first check the server logfile to see if the device actually connect on that port and sends data.

Even though Anton asked not to duplicate questions it seems you keep doing it..

where is the log file located? I am using aws to host the server, and can connect to the files with filezilla

Its not duplicated. Its another question

In the traccar server install directory there is a directory called /log

This is actually very basic knowledge which you should be able the find out / investigate yourself just to find out where the server log resides.

For instance you should read all the website documentation to get a better understandig about traccar server.
Also you can ask these simple questions from Ai like chat-gpt, Co-pilot or claude ai its free so no reason to not do your own homework.

I am also trying a MV930G on port 5015 (huabao), the device works ok while stationary, set to report every 10 minutes when acc is off and every 10 seconds when acc is on. When the device starts moving it will send one or two positions (every 10 seconds) then stops reporting. No positions in logs after it’s locked up. The only way to get it working again is to restart the device with command RESTART# all other devices on protocol teltonika/ho2 are working fine. Has anyone else had this with these MV930 devices?

Could this be a time zone issue, I know these devices report in GMT not UTC time and I have some positions showing but at the wrong time

Anton Tananaev 20 days ago

Very unlikely that it's a timezone issue.

Yeah, I changed the time zone to GMT+6 and it’s reporting most recent positions but the wrong time so changed the device back to the correct time zone. Il have to look into it further
