I am a new member. I have noted that the client application generates a unique identifier for the phone on which it is installed. My question is how possible is it, to use the IMEI of a phone as the unique identifier? I attempted it with the IMEI of my phone and the phone was shown as offline on the web interface.
It's possible on Android, but it would require "phone" permission. Most people won't understand why the app requires access to "phone calls".
