Individual notification for status events.

Is there a way via UI to set-up notifications for specific devices only ?
I see attributes in notification edit dialog, but is is not clear which values to write there

You can have notification for specific devices. All you need to do is link those notifications to right devices.

Don't use notification attributes. It's for future extensions.

So the question should be where to do this link?

In devices toolbar there is a menu item for notifications.
