iOS Background Updates

When using the iOS client app, the app does not update in the background if the app is closed (swiped away) - is this something that will be added? Or should it actually be working?

When you swipe away the app you basically killing the process, so there is nothing app can do after that.

There are other apps that do it though, and will continue running in the background even after being killed, for example Skype.
