Iot sim for europa for private use
We use Thingsmobile, who are based in Italy but which works in just about any country. Very good supporting dashboard application showing usage stats, status and so on. We operate in Southern Africa and North America, no issues there, I would assume them to be even better in Europe.

Its an option, yeah...i will take this into account but will look for some other options as well, as far as thingsmobile isnt that cheap for my usecase.
I also stumbled accros Soracom and Simbase. Pricing wise both have relatively the same pricerange. Soracoma Sim Cards a bit harder to get as i can see. Anyone got experince with Simbase?

so my final choice was simbase.
I bought it in january 2025 for i guess 5-7€ for the physical Sim. I filled the card with 10-12€ i guess.
Since them im using the europe plan and got still around 1€ left... So i need to fill it up this month. :D
My Tracker reports every hour when its in standby and every 10 seconds when its moving....for me its around 3-5mb data each month, but this obviously depends on your setup and your activity.
So far im pretty happy with my choice. :)
Thanks for the fast reply! That sounds better than anything I could find. Were you able to buy it as a private customer? I'm always confused if I see "Tax Identification Number" at the billing page.
Yes, i bought it as a Private customer.
I just checked the "add fund" Form and got the tax id field there aswell, but since this is not a necessary field, i just left it empty.
The tax ID number Thing distracted me aswell when i Was looking for a good Sim, but at simbase i dont have any issues with leaving the field empty.

Does any know a good alternativ for Europa (esp. Germany).
