Keeping the momentum of new version with new features
This is not going to help prioritize it. You think it's the biggest issue. But there are hundreds of other feature requests that people think as their biggest issues.
You are right, but I think you yourself have been through the hassle of trying to explain to so many people on this forum how to set up their traccar and the numerous posts saying x doesn't work despite that it works and it is they who don't know how to set up traccar properly, indicate that even for semi tech savy user ( who goes through the trouble of posting on a the forums of a tech product if they weren't at least semi tech savy?!) it is abit complicated. You have done an incredible work improving traccar recently why slow the momentum now when you can keep going? , You understood the challenge of what we are talking about hence you built the QR scanner into traccar so I think you share our perspective in trying to make traccar better and easier to use specially with the initial setup.
I am not saying you aren't doing good enough work supporting a free product that we all love, in contrary I am trying to say we care about the incredible product that you created and we only wish for it to be better . I still hope this feature request gets considered ASAP as as a great product is truly great when it is well thought through and easy to use.
Even though the update to the traccar new version was anything but smooth at the beginning (everything is ok now) but we were really excited regardless that this will eventually lead to speeding up the implementation of new features. However I am not sure if you forgot this feature request or isn't it a priority to you ? . I truly believe that it is going to solve the biggest issue with traccar(client) as of right now which is that non tech savy users can't really easily add the server url and device id themselves as they as well as set up traccar options . Supporting a way to auto capture these fields from a url that can be sent to them only makes sense and it is going to make a huuuuge difference in making traccar waaaay easier to use and help those who help others set up tracar on their devices(Everyone will be happy in short). You have invested so much time updating traccar so would you please consider adding this feature soon ? Specially that I think it is waaaaaay easier than other stuff you have already done with the new update but will have a great impact on making traccar much better. Thanks
