Limit notification channel per user or group?

Dear community,

Is it possible to restrict the type of notification channels available to a group or an individual user or are notification channels always global, hence always available to all (considering that these channels exist)? We would like to restrict the use of the SMS channel.

Thanks Anton. Got it. Perhaps an option for a future feature to restrict by group or user. Just a consideration.
