We all know currently Linux x64 and ARM versions of the installer are available. If using ARM Cortex-A72 (Broadcom BCM2711) that implements the ARMv8-A 64-bit instruction set, is it better to use Linux x64 rather than ARM version? (If I am not wrong, ARM version uses 32-bit instruction set).
Like x86 and x64, ARM is a different processor architecture, guess best option would be a potential ARM64 version that supports 64-bit processing, but for now, just want to know which one fits better on that scenario.
Bests,
Alarcon.
Probably better to use "other" version.
Alright thanks Anton. Is there any ARM64 version planned to develop? Would be so much appretiated. Bests.
Is there an openjdk build for it we can use?
