Denis what HTTP code are you talking about? What port are you using for the device?

Denis Puhov4 years ago

Hi Anton. I think that in this line of the log, code is:

[18/Feb/2020:11:58:13 +0300] --> 400 <---(this is not http code?)  (188.170.74.100) *HQ,7201016378,V1,085812,A,6855.5322,N,03306.6188,E,000.00,312,180220,FFE7FBFF,250,02,0,0,2# (-)

through the android app there are lines with the code 200 in this point.
I use port 8072 for Hassio Addon and forward it through my external IP. Android app works well with this.

Anton Tananaev4 years ago

Are you forwarding using HTTP protocol? That won't work for devices that don't use HTTP, which are most of the devices out there.

Denis Puhov4 years ago

I just forward port from external to internal ip (TCP) and setup LK720 tracker like "adminip123456 <EXT_IP> 8072" for use alternative server. After this in traccar log i get the message as above. How right setup device for use traccar server? maybe in internal network for these purposes need use another port?

Anton Tananaev4 years ago

What you have above is NOT Traccar logs.

Denis Puhov4 years ago

this is stdout debian console outputs from traccar after run it

Anton Tananaev4 years ago

Traccar doesn't output anything like that into the console, assuming that you are using correct ports.

This type of tracker uses port 5013, as identified multiple times in the thread. Why are you trying to use port 8072?

Denis Puhov4 years ago

why 8072? I don't known.. found on the internet when search info about hassio addon) I was able to connect a gps tracker via port 5013, but I had to forward two ports including 8072 for the http connection using a mobile client traccar that refused to work through port 5013. Finally everything worked out, thanks for the help ;-)

Hassio appears to be a Home Assistant function; nothing to do with GPS tracking.

Ports are generally used to denote a particular data protocol. Since the multitude of available GPS trackers have different data protocols, they need to be directed to appropriate ports. The Traccar server expects to see messages with a particular protocol on data it receives from a particular port (the port assignment is defined by Anton, to assign a tracker protocol to a port). If you send data to the wrong port, Traccar will reject it as failing the expected protocol format. I doubt very much if Traccar is even listening to port 8072.

The mobile Traccar client uses port 5055. The mobile Traccar manager uses port 8082.

About hassio, I know what it is home assistant tool, but the hass community appeared addon which allows integrate traccar into the environment hassio. Also addon works in docker container environment with forwarding port from inside docker to outside debian system by the virtual network and also 8072 port apparently selected with addon developer to resolve conflicts between other hass addons. On the port 8072 granted access to web interface of Traccar.

Hi. I made a mistake when i tried to setup the administrator phone number and forgot to add one digit. Now the device won't respond to any SMS command since my phone number is not admin anymore. However, the device is still online on the gpscj.net platform and i can use the map tracking feature but i don't get the shake alarm on my phone anymore.

Any idea if is there any other way to reset the device excepting from the admin phone number which currently is set to a phone number that doesn't exists in reality?

Thanks to Traccar forum, I was able to setup my CJ720 and track it in realtime on their demo page.
Best regards!
