I'm seeking guidance on connecting my Pacific Track PT40 GPS device with Traccar.
Based on my analysis, the device uses UDP port 5198 for communication. However, despite multiple attempts, I’ve been unable to establish a successful connection.
I’ve also tested the device on Traccar demo servers but had no luck. When checking the logs, I didn’t see any valid HEX or recognizable messages being received from the device.
If anyone has experience with the PT40 model or can point me in the right direction (e.g., correct port, protocol settings, or troubleshooting steps), I’d truly appreciate the support.

Sounds like a device issue. Is there a reason this is in the server section?
No specific proof for server side. But I'll check it again in depth once, and in case I need anye, I'll post here again.
