Notifications email doesnt work Traccar Latest

Hello there,

I have read the manuall and the documentation. I have tried all the possible configurations but when I press the Test Notification button I got a message no connected or something like that.

Is there a bug already known ?

Also when I add the settings to the user profile and log in and log out the mail settings are gone!

Any ideas?

I have traccar server laster in Linux.

Please be more specifics about what you have tried and what error messages you get. Logs, screenshots etc.

i get a message "communication failure" without any log. What file i shall look for log?

If you do not see an auto-configuration script for your client in the list above, you can manually configure your mail client using the settings below:

Secure SSL/TLS Settings (Recommended)
Username: gps@jkdirections.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: mail.jkdirections.com
IMAP Port: 993 POP3 Port: 995
Outgoing Server: mail.jkdirections.com
SMTP Port: 465
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.

You mentioned that settings disappear when you logout and login? Are you sure you saved USER after adding attributes?

I have logged out and logged in again and settings are there now. I dont know what strange behavior is that.
But mail still not working :(

I can successfully ping mail.jkdirection.com from my linux vps.

How did you ping? Have you tried any other SMTP client with same settings?

Yes i have just tried to create email account with microsoft outlook and succeeded

It looks like a problem with network connection. Check network request and response details in the browser console.

From google chrome Network Console, i get

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

On Headers tab i get the following:

Preview, Response are empty.

Make sure you use latest version of Traccar.
