So, we're working with customers who want to add the long-life battery powered Teltonika TAT100 series of trackers for monitoring trailers in addition to excavators we are already tracking. The TAT100 trackers work as expected for basic tracking, but I would like to send "Device Moving" and "Device Stopped" Notifications. I have the trackers sending this data to Traccar, but subsequent records might be hours later, or there may only be two records uploaded - one with the Motion: Yes and one with Motion: No, before the tracker goes into an extended sleep.
For a bit more detail, I can make the tracker send a record when it first starts to move (Motion: Yes), and every hour if it is still moving. I can also make the tracker send a record when it stops moving (Motion: No), but it then pivots to one record every 8 hours. However there are no Events being recorded in Traccar for either Device Moving or Device Stopped.
These trackers send an explicit Motion flag, but do I also need to edit the report.trip.minimalTripDuration or something and set it to zero?
I'll take this as a NO, because it's impossible to set a zero value for report.trip.minimalTripDuration
