Different apps can have completely different configuration and tracking logic, so I'm not sure what this is about. Is there some question? You haven't even shared full configuration. Are you actually using high accuracy? Because that seems like what you're using in the other apps.

That's a wrong assumption. Medium accuracy uses cell/wifi for location, not GPS, so it can have a very low accuracy depending your area.
