Possible bug in manager having limit commands enabled

Parveen Kumar Yadav 8 years ago

Dear Anton,

If we have a manager and limit commands enabled for him then he/she can give limit commands permission to another user while creating/editing user. I think it's a bug. Right?

Sounds like a bug. Please report on github and provide some screenshots to make it more clear.

Dear Anton,

Filed issue on Github.

One more thing in my mind. Can manager also delete himself? Is it by design or also a bug?

I don't see much problem with that, even if he can. It doesn't really make sense to do, but it's not a security issue.

OK, but It can be an issue if manager have at least 30-40 users in minimum or devices and deletes himself.

Now, Admin have to find out the respective users or devices or any other properties and assign to him/her if was deleted mistakenly.
What's your opinion?

The idea is that admins and managers are more careful than regular users. I don't think we should make code more complicated just to handle corner cases like this.

Yes, You are right :) . No problem.

One of my manager deleted his account having around 50 devices and I laughed a lot.
