Recall Routes Error 500
Where do you get this error?
When I looking at the map on the bottom where you can Type: Route/Events/Trips/Stops/Summary/Chart once I choose any of them and select a device and select today. Next is when I press Show, then that error pops up.. strange, I will try to update the ubuntu and reboot, see if makes any changes.
Check request in the browser console. It might have more info.

the pop up was within Traccar. the browser didnt provide any info other than what I provided, Im going to re-install one more time to see if it will clear itself, maybe something was missed.

As for the issue, I think you should still check browser console to see what you get in the API response.
I have tried to use the the feature of being able to see the history of subjects. I get this error:
