Sending SMS notifications through "email to text gateway"

shawn8087 years ago

I thought id share this again because it's really useful. If you want to setup text alerts, you can simply check with your carrier for "email to text gateway" and you tell traccar from the web view to send notifications to your email and setup your email to forward those to your "email to text gateway". For example I use Verizon. On traccar i use a gmail to get notifications. However i have also played around with the gmail setting to forward those alerts coming from traccar to send/text to my verizon text gateway. check with your carrier, it's pretty useful!!
