Server version downgraded after restart – app shows 6.10.0 but server shows 6.6

GIS-FACTORY 3 days ago

Hello,

Some time ago we upgraded our Traccar installation to version 6.10.0 and everything was working correctly.

A few days ago, we experienced an issue with the server that required a full system restart. After this restart, we noticed that:

The mobile/web app shows version 6.10.0

The server version now shows 6.6

Since the restart, we have not intentionally performed any downgrade or version change.

Our questions are:

Is it possible for the server to revert to an older version after a restart?

Should we upgrade the server again to 6.10.0, or is there any additional step required to properly align the server version with the app version?

Is there a recommended way to verify which Traccar server version is actually running on the system?

Any guidance on how to safely restore the server to version 6.10.0 would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

The server won't revert to old version on its own.

Previously, the server data appeared as shown in the image. Now I've lost functionalities such as auditing and others. To fix this, do I need to update to version 6.10 or the latest version?

I don't know what happened, so I don't really have a recommendation. You should probably look at system logs.
