This is more of a help guide than a problem. I wanted to set traccar up on another linux server and run it as a subdomain. The calls come through my main server, and are routed to the server hosting traccar. I'm running linux with apache on my main server. I'm running the front end through a secure SSL connection with a LetsEncrypt certificate. Calls made by the gps devices are made via normal http - mainly because i'm working this one out in the future. I use dynu.com for my dynamic IP address...others are available!
You can also use this if you're running traccar on your main server - just add the main server ip address where it says <<ip address for traccar server>>
