Sharing a devices

Hi,

When I try to share a device in version 5.11 I get the following error:

Duplicate entry 'xxx:xxx' for key 'tc_users.email' - SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException (... < QueryBuilder:469 < DatabaseStorage:95 < DeviceResource:216 < ...)

(I removed some data and replaced by “x”)

Anybody familiar with this error or has any documentation on sharing devices.

This topic is the same https://www.traccar.org/forums/topic/device-link-sharing/ when he clicks a second time on share link. You can read from the error there was already a link created earlier.

When the link is created check under Settings/users and remove all created user links. Then try it again.

Thanks, found that.. only thing now is to get the link copied, because that seems to fail.

When you read the forum you would read that it only works when the connenction to the server is SSL

We already have some fixes coming in the next release soon.

I did read that, and I have a https connection with valid certificate. But hopefully the fixes in the next release will fix it as Anton wrote.

Ok so it didnt work with valid cert also ? I thought it would be better that the link could just be copied from the created user account.
