Show device attributes in popup

Is there a way to show device attributes in the map popup?

Adding the attribute to Settings -> Preferences -> Popup Info doesn't seem to work.

Is there any specific reasons why it's not supported? If there aren't any, I can work on it.

We haven't had a chance to implement it yet. Feel free to work on it, but make sure to discuss your approach first before coding.
