Show Phone Number

Can I somehow show the phone number that I have set on the device at the state bar or anywhere else (e.g. with the name on the map)?
I can set once it in any other place if that's required (e.g. via an attribute) but I would like to see it without having to go on the device and click on the "edit" button.

Hover mouse over any column header in devices table. There is a drop-down menu there. Open that menu, click "Columns" and tick the "Phone" checkbox.

One more question...Can I make somehow this change persistent? Because if I logout then every time I have to set it over again.

Unfortunately not. The only way is to change defaults in the source code.
