Traccar as a Vehicle Management System

Hello everyone,
I am evaluating the suitability of Traccar for use as a Vehicle Management System in managing a large fleet of company vehicles. This VMS will be monitoring the following
Speed
Acceleration
Deceleration
Driver Driving Hours.

My question(s) are outlined below

1. Can Traccar monitor or be modified to monitor the acceleration/deceleration of a vehicle to detect harsh acceleration (between 0.27 and 0.32 G)
   2)Can Traccar monitor or be modified to monitor hours driven by a driver?

1. That's a questions for your device vendor. Harsh acceleration/deceleration is detected on the device side. Traccar does support such events on the server side, if your device reports them/
2. I don't think there is such functionality at the moment, but it can be implemented fairly easily. We already have everything for it (drivers, hours calculation).

Thanks Anton. Are you aware of any device(s) compatible with Traccar that has this in-built acceleration/deceleration function?

Also I'm not very clear in my head how we would be able to track driver hours? On a very high level, I envisage driver logging in at a vehicle using some kind of fob or biometric before the vehicle can start. Also are there devices that can detect that all seat belts in a vehicle are engaged?
