Traccar for receiving connections.

jannier 9 years ago

Friends,

I have a server with about 200 cars using TK103B .
It turns out that every day some stop devices to communicate with the server.

Restarting the Traccar and they all come back to communicate normally.

Has anyone ever experienced this? very strange.

Are there any errors in the log file when devices stop communicate with the server?

jannier 9 years ago

No. I researched and believe it has something with sockets and orphaned connections operating system .

The device to communicate and does not close the connection to the server .

server overload ?

No. I only have 170 equipment.

Most likely you need to increase connection limit and set timeout. It has been discussed multiple times before. Take a look for example here:

ok , I'll check . On the server does not show the log: WARN : Netty warning : Failed to accept the connection.

Tanks.

If you think number of connections is not the issue, then it must be lack of hardware resources.
