What files do you see in the logs
folder?
Hi Anton
Thanks for the quick reply.
I see the log file from yesterday but not today?
Is that the whole output? Nothing cut off on the top?
Yes, that's everything. The log for today is missing.
You can see the slider on the right hand side is at the top of the page.
Also the order of the dates is sequential and the log for today (19 Feb) should be located below 20190218.
If I try nano tracker-server.log.20190219 it creates a blank document.
Thanks again!
Can you please provide a screenshot that shows full output, including original ls
command.
Here you go.
I needed to run ls --ignore statements to just show the logs from February 2019.
As you can see today's traccar log (19 Feb) is not there!
Thanks again for helping solve this mystery.
You said it was the whole output when it clearly wasn't. Why?
Today's (current) log doesn't have date suffix. You have the file, as we can see now.
OK, apologies - you are totally right.
I didn't realize the current log file doesn't have a date associated and it wasn't showing up when I was just using the "ls" command.
Thanks for helping me identify the correct file.
I would be grateful if someone could help me out.
I am attempting to identify the protocol for a device I wish to connect to traccar.
When I visit /opt/traccar/logs I see traccar log files from previous days however there is not a logfile with today's date.
When I look in the log file from yesterday, I don't see any connection attempts from today.
I was thinking this may be an issue related to timezone (Digital Ocean droplet may be based in the US) - however this does not seem to be the case.
Thanks in advance for helping me find the traccar log from today.
