Tracker with RFID

Is the purpose of the RFID on trackers that have them to identify the person near the tracker? would Traccar update the name of the driver if each driver had an RFID tag?

Purpose is to identify the driver. Yes, Traccar will show driver name.

perfect! This is exactly what I am looking for. Now if I could just find a OBDII, 3G, with RFID tracker it would be nice. I would even settle for a 2G version.

hello!... I have connected RFID tag to the tracker device, I changed the tag, I got in the events that "Driver was changed" but was not able to to see the driver name in any place? is that a normal behevior? where should I find this information about the driver?
