JH709 - Trips and Stops are one of the things that often need some deep thought about what YOU consider a "Trip".

You absolutely must start with the link Anton provided and really, really absorb what it means. Preferably by then empirically testing and comparing your GPS position data with how Traccar determines that data ends up calculated as a Trip.
