Have a centos vps hosting 8 sites under plesk and cpanel. I have root access to all sites and the vps server and then as both the specific individual domains.
Being new to the unix side of the world when I go to run the server installation I am not 100% sure of the install location for the traccar server. As I am only interested in using the traccar server for one of the individual vps domains I am not sure how this functions.
Should I be running the installation for the top level on for the vps as a whoe as root or should i be working in the individual vps instance?
Same question for the java install.
Default installation will install global Traccar instance, but you can proxy it through your web server to be available on a single domain only.
