I would recommend to start with troubleshooting guide.
ok. So looking at it I've tried forwarding to port 5001 then 5001. is it just a case of trying the various ports (sending to 5001 on router - forwarding to port 5xxx on target PC) until I get one that processes the data? (Shows as Info: in the logs?)

I am getting the following in the logs, does this look ok?

You are using wrong port. Please read this:

righto. I'll keep amending the router to forward to one that'll work...
Still getting no joy with the reception of data. Concerned that the server does not appear to be listening on the ports I'm sending to.... When using 5001 or 5002 I got loads of data in the logs, 5006 seems to just give me the heartbeat packet and anything higher gives nothing at all... (trying with 5023 at the moment in case the device is a tk108...)
Do I need to match the adminid port in the device config to the destination port or will normal port forwarding work?
I have the device sending to my external IP router address and port 5001 which is then forwarded to my target PC and the port internally.
All I'm doing to test different ports is amending the router rule to go to port 5001, 5002, 5006, 5013 etc... to test different protocols.
It should work like this surely?
Ta,

Port 5002 is the correct one. Device id is 072100665231.
New user here, so howdy... :)
I'm trying to set up a tracker for a vehicle using a tk102 clone device and I'm struggling to get the software under windows to see the device.
I've got a 2g data sim in the brick that is sending via EE to my external IP address, I've port forwarding in place to forward 5001-5010 to the PC and both wireshark and the Hex log are showing the data is hitting the PC and seemingly the server. Checking the Hex log data and wireshark I can pull out the unique identifier (12 digits) and these match from the label on the thing to the data so that's good.
I've tried with a 2nd device with similar results and they simply aren't coming up on in the map/show always as offline. Also, the web page pops up "web socket error" every now and again.
I've opened up the firewall on the PC to let the traffic in and the router has forwarding/triggering enabled.
so, just can't see why I can't see the devices.
Any next steps? it is listing gps103 as the protocol and the devices are not stated as "unknown".
going to delve into the config file methinks...
