apparently admin rights are only shown with direct login: http://192.168.x.x:8082 and not if you come via apache / proxy and https://mydomain.org/gps. I also tried with a completely fresh install
hmm, apparently a caching issue when proxied through apache? Now everything works also with the external URL, whithout any change. Strange ...
@socstur, check user database table before and after. Also, check migration logs.

I upgraded to 3.17 with a fresh database and logged in with username=admin and password=admin but it does not give admin privileges. What is the new login for admin privileges? is the username=administrator and what is the password?
