I've checked the supported devices and not found support for Coban GPS311A.

I don't have the device so can't make the debugging steps written on the page because I just want to decide what to buy.
The important feature what I really need is the third party SMS forward support (It's enough if the GPS part is supported and I manually configure the forwarding).

My guess that the device is supported in general. Not sure about SMS forwarding.

That said SMS forward can be done through SMS so I don't need it to be done by Traccar.
Which protocol/port do you think it must be used?

Just for the record the ordered GPS tracker works flawlessly on port 5001.
