Database versions confirmation

I found a thread which was about the MySQL version required, so I'd like to confirm couple of things:

  1. Traccar 6.17.0 requires MySQL 8.4. This is fine. Which MariaDB version is needed for 6.17.0?
  2. Will traccar 6.14.5 work with MySQL 8.4? Are there any dependencies?

I'm not aware of any other limitations.
