I have two iphone 13, one standard 13 and the other the pro max variant. They are both running traccar client v9.7.19, both have continuous tracking toggled on, location permission set to 'always', motion & fitness and background app refresh toggled on. The pro max will send heartbeats for a few hours and then stops. If I click the 'send location' button in app it will then send heartbeats for another few hours and stop. The standard 13 does not send heartbeats at all. I have tried 'high' and 'highest' accuracy, increasing and decreasing the heartbeat interval, stop detection on and off, and still nothing. If i click 'send location' while stationary it will send it that one time, but no follow ups.
Also, neither phone follows the distance or interval settings when in motion. Often when i first start moving, they will update regularly, then the updates get farther and farther apart. Not sure if these are just iOS issues, or I'm just not understanding how to use the software.
Heartbeat is almost certainly iOS limitation. Apple is very strict with that.
