how to set up my own traccar server

Hi i am new to traccar
can any one tell me what all the pre-requisites that i need to set up my own traccar server on my local machine.

just you need a PC with Windows or Linux like ( Ubuntu ) operating system. with 512Mb RAM .. that is all for You!..

I would recommend at least 1GB RAM. You would also need Java installed on the machine. No other prerequisites.

now i want to change some functionalities in that application.
For that do i need to run the traccar server(https://github.com/tananaev/traccar) on eclipse and make some magic??

You can use any development tools you want.
