Map reset on layer selection change

It is convenient for the map to locate on initial load but not IME on layer change.
Just to add I am not a typical user as I use the Traccar UI for tasks other then device tacking.

Hi all,
I asked this a while ago but thought I'd try again. How might I prevent the web interface from resetting the map bounds when I change layer?
I frequently switch back and forth between various layers and it be would be good to be able to do this without having to reposition/zoom the map each time.
