Questions about Android Client

Hello Anton
First of all let me congratulate you on this app and even more for posting the code.

I am a developer but new in java and android, based on your app I'm making some changes like for example that the ID automatically take the device's IMEI, this works for me but I have 2 doubts that I hope you can answer me.

  1. How can I make when starting the app after its installation does not show absolutely anything, but open like a demon? I mean you do not see the configuration screen or the message box that calls to traccar.

  2. After the installation I am seeing that most of the devices report once and then the app pass to pause and does not return to position's query and don't send data to the server.

I've configured both In my server and the app the port 5055.

  1. That's not possible. You can close the window straight away if you want, but it's not possible to make an app without any UI at all.

  2. Probably some issue with your phone.
