Scheduled Reminder Notification to Users to Start Tracking in Traccar Mobile App?
You can use announcement API. But that would send to Traccar Manager.
I would like to request a feature enhancement for the Traccar mobile client application.
Many users stop tracking in the evening and sometimes forget to start tracking again the next morning. This results in missing tracking data for the beginning of the day.
It would be very helpful if the mobile application could include a daily reminder feature in the app settings.
Proposed Feature
Add an option in the mobile app settings such as:
Enable Daily Tracking Reminder (checkbox or toggle)
Reminder Time Selection (user can select time, e.g., 8:00 AM)
When enabled, the application should send a local notification on the mobile device reminding the user to start tracking.
Optional Enhancement
It would also be useful if this reminder configuration could be:
configured through a QR code during device setup, or
preconfigured by the administrator, so users can easily enable it without manual setup.

I am using a self-hosted Traccar server along with the Traccar Client mobile application available on the Google Play Store.
In our use case, many users stop tracking in the evening and sometimes forget to start tracking again the next morning. Because of this, location tracking data is missing for the start of the day.
I would like to know if there is any way to:
Schedule a reminder notification for all users in the morning (for example at 8:00 AM) reminding them to start tracking.
Send a broadcast notification/message to all registered users/devices from the Traccar server.
Ideally, the reminder should appear as a push notification in the Traccar mobile app.
Could you please guide if this is possible using:
Built-in Traccar features
Server configuration
API integration
Or any recommended plugin / external automation?
