I am using Traccar Cloud Free with a Bofan PT502 tracker.
Device details:
• Device identifier: 7230947357447
• Protocol: PT502
The tracker is communicating with Traccar and sending repeated $POS packets containing valid GPS data. However, no positions appear in the Positions/history view.
As a result:
• Events are visible.
• Trips show "No data".
• Stops show "No data".
• Summary shows "No data".
• Route and other reports also show no data.
• The device currently shows Offline.
• Traccar displays the error: java.lang.NullPointerException
Examples of packets received:
The decoded $POS data contains valid GPS status (A), latitude/longitude, timestamp, date, speed, and course.
Could you please check whether the PT502 messages are being rejected or failing during decoding/position storage, and specifically investigate the java.lang.NullPointerException?
It appears that the tracker is transmitting position data successfully, but Traccar Cloud is not creating/storing the corresponding Position records.
