Are you sure you are using IP address? It looks like there's some DNS error.
I send to http://164.90.###.###:5055/
and get bad dns, but with the demo server I would send to 149.56.170.158:5055
and it would work. Nothing else changed, so I think it has something to do with my DO instance.
I still don't understand why it's giving you a DNS error. You are not using domain names. You have to find out where the error is coming from first.
I am not sure why either. I will mess around with it tomorrow. I am heading to bed. Last time I tried to build it in DO I would get Error: bad_url, so I destroyed that instance and now receive Bad Dns. I will mess with tomorrow.
I installed Traccar on a digital ocean droplet utilizing this guide, https://www.traccar.org/install-digitalocean/. I have opened port 5055 for tcp and upd. I am using Helium to forward gps info from a Oyster. When I use the Demo server it works, but when I go back to my server I get the "Error:bad_dns" error. I am using the public IP address as well. Any ideas on what I have wrong?
