Traccar Relay works but no position

Cris 6 days ago

The new Google Hub relay support works fine to the point that devices are coming online, however, there is to data for the position transmitted:
The tracker-server.log shows:

...1980-01-06 00:00:00, lat: 0.00000, lon: 0.00000, course: 0.0

What could be the cause?

Have you requested location?

Cris 6 days ago

Not sure what you mean by requested - within Google Find Hub? Yes.

Anton Tananaev 6 days ago

No, from Traccar. You have to request location.

Cris 6 days ago

Thanks. So you mean just like that as custom instruction?

I don't understand the language you have there.

Boa noite! No meu caso, consegui configurar o Traccar Relay, mas não entendi como configurar na plataforma. Como adicionar o equipamento para visualizar o rastreamento .

Hi Silva, copy the device ID that is shown in the Relay App (long press on it to copy) to Traccar as new device.

Hi Anton,
In regards to your hint You have to request location.: I can't find anything in the documentation Commands
Could you point to what needs to be filled in the Data field as custom command?

Anton Tananaev 5 days ago

You shouldn't be using custom command for this.

The reason I set up a custom command is because there is nothing to chose from as pictured below:

Therefore I created a custom command (guessing what the actual command should be; i.e. request location)

That is obviously not what you meant.
So the question remains where a location request is to be issued?

Working now. Fantastic! Didn't notice that there is already a thread about the Relay app..
