Unable to get data from gt06 traccer on port 5023

I have installed Traccar as add on in Home Assistant and Traccar web default port is 8082. I have installed traccar client app in my mobile and configured to send data to port 8082. It is working fine. I can able to see the location updates in the traccar web interface without issue.

I am also having gt06 protocal gps traccer. I have added the gt06 propertie in traccar.xml file to enable the 5023 port to use gt06 protocal. i tested in cmd for port open...it is showing 5023 port is open on my ip. But i didnt receive anything to my webinterface.

To ensure gt06 traccar is in working condition. I tested in demo server, it is working fine without issue.

I dont know where I am making mistake.

I tried troubleshooting gide. But I didt receive hex code. I verified port forwading is also working fine

public ip--->web port (5023)----->local port(5023)------>local ip.

can u see anything abnormal in log file..???

No, nothing unusual in the log file. Sounds like the issue is with the device.

It's not wrong. Your device just doesn't report any GPS yet. It's common for GT06 based devices to not report any GPS when they are stationary.

Hi,
I am posting this because, I face exact issue. I followed all the steps & troubleshooting step. Still no trace of my device

I configured traccar server & able to check using traccar client mobile device, I can able to see GPS data and device online.

But for the device I am using there is no sign in traccar server not even in the log.
I am using device G17 GT06 protocol device.

I added, <entry key='gt06.port'>5023</entry> in traccar.xml [/opt/traccar/conf/traccar.xml]

I configured using command SERVER,0,XX.XXX.XXX.XXX,5023,0# [XX.XXX.XXX.XXX is my server IP]

For SMS, I can able to get the response from the gps device but not to traccar server.

I don't see any data from your device in the logs, which means the server is receiving anything.

Based on the suggesting here > https://www.traccar.org/identify-protocol/

I change the port to 5001 and configured server accordingly.

I got the following response in the server.

I tired decoding using Hex Decoder/Encoder but its shows 'Binary Hex can't be converted to Text'
