I would like to update the application version of Traccar to 6.2 (I have version 5. something).
But on the instruction https://www.traccar.org/upgrading-traccar/ I am not sure about step 4 "Remove the old version of Traccar". What does that entail exactly?
Would like to ask if someone could help with more detailed instructions on the upgrade process please.
I am not experienced with command line or Linux so to install the previous verrsion I just followed the instructions exactly on the https://www.traccar.org/install-digitalocean/ page. I am able to create a new droplet and install the new version there, but I need to keep the application on an existing droplet, as the tracking devices are still pointing to that IP.

Thanks Anton, was able to successfully upgrade. Though I had a bunch of issues with MySQL permissions when attempting to recreate the database for the new version, not sure if it's common. I had to uninstall and reinstall the whole MySQL get the new version to work successfully.
