User position not updating on the map after server upgrade from 5.x to 6.14.2

In the meanwhile I've made a simple test: running old legacy web app on recent traccar server backend. User tracking works.
Unless you're interested in paid support, it has to be through the forum.
It was just a matter of privacy. I am not requesting paid services or a private customization right now, just acknowledge a possibly shared problem.
Around June 2025 you should have received an unsolicited donation from the company I work for (if I remember correctly) not linked to any activity, does this count? I need some time to prepare the video otherwise.

Users using web app or mobile Traccar Manager app were able to click on "my position" and the marker would follow them.
After last server upgrade (using docker container) the feature behaves differently and now pressing the my location button positions an immobile token on the map. By clicking again it moves to new position, but it never follows like before.
Is there a way to restore old behaviour? I tested this change on multiple mobile devices connected by different means to the internet, it doesn't seem a websocket issue to me.
