what does "Use System Location"?

Hi, I saw the new option "Use System Location"? What does it if enabled? Or how does everything behave if its disabled?
I found:

It disables Google Play service location and instead falls back to standard Android location provider.

This is maybe a technically correct answer, but for normal users it has zero value, because what is "Google Play Service Location" (why has Google my location?) in contrast to Android Location Provider? What is better in terms of accuracy? What draws more battery? What is recommended? On? Off?

How does this option interact with the "Accuracy" options (High, Medium, Low...)?
Does "off" means I share my location now with Google?!

It forces the app to use the platform location provider directly even when Google Play Services is available (by default the Fused Location Provider is used when Play Services is present).

Normal users generally should not touch any advanced settings. This specific setting has nothing to do with accuracy or battery.

It also has nothing to do with sharing location with Google, but if you do have Google Services on your phone, you are probably already sharing with Google.
