What makes your server different?

So we are all here because we use the Traccar system to manage different devices.

But, why should a person choose your server, over someone else's?

What does your server offer, that someone else does not?

Any one up for sharing some ideas?

Can I ask what other systems are you comparing traccar to?

Mostly the generic preset Chinese tracker services, that most devices default to.

But I was also wondering what differences there could be between my Traccar server compared to other people on these forums.

Ah, the Chnese... Well the problem I had with the Setrack apps is that they were not able to show the current position of my kids watch, while the watch was reporting correctly (could only be seen by looking at the history). Now with traccar I know where they are.

I would say that quality and reliability of Traccar is much higher than Chinese servers.

Couple of things I would say that are better compared to chinese servers.

  1. Quality and Reliability I agree with Anton on this
  2. Ability to customize
  3. API's for integrations.
  4. Easy deployment and troubleshooting.

and most importantly the number of protocols and gps devices supported by traccar, and the amazing support by Traccar.
